Stainless-steel or nylon three-vane paddles are the most popular; they come in a variety of diameters. When changing bulk materials, you may need a different paddle to provide proper resistance.
Collapsible and some bayonet or single-vane paddles will fit through a 1-1/4” or 1-1/2” opening, allowing installation without entering the vessel. For some applications, a direct-connect paddle option will not require a coupler.
