Mercury-free: Fixed mount tilt switch

High level detection of powders and bulk solids in bins, silos, or over a conveyor belt.

Use the BM-TSM mechanical tilt switch in bulk solid materials with a bulk density of at least 15 lb./cu. ft.

How tilt switch sensors work:

When material rises and tilts the switching mechanism 15 degrees, it activates a switch that sends an alert to a horn, light, or control panel.

What’s special about the BM-TSM:

  • Mercury-free design eliminates environmental or recycling hazards
  • C/US Class II, Division I Groups E, F, and G, and ATEX Zone 21 hazardous location approvals
  • Patented, non-powered pendulum design works mechanically and reliably
  • Custom shaft lengths from 1 foot up to 8 feet available with paddle or sphere
