VRX21 – Standard Vibrating Probe Level Sensor
The VRX21 vibrating probe level sensor is the newest iteration of BinMaster’s standard vibrating rod, now including a bright, built-in LED status indicator. The light can easily be seen from afar, appearing as red or green, and changing color based on if material is or is not covering the probe and damping its vibration.
VRX21 is a premier choice for measuring fluffy, low-dielectric bulk solids, powders, and granules as light as 1.9 lb./ft.³ (30 g/liter). The sensor utilizes a 24 VDC or 115/230 VAC power supply and operates in temperatures up to 140°F (60°F). (High-temperature probe up to 284°F/140°C available)
The sword-shaped vibrating blade has a 7.5” insertion length into the vessel to detect high, mid, or low point-level conditions. It can be mounted at the top, side, or cone of a bin, tank, silo, or vessel with 1 1/4” or 1 1/2” NPT threads.
By providing reliable level alerts, users can reduce material waste, prevent overfills, or know when to order more when material levels get too low.
BinMaster’s VRX21 features DPDT relay contacts, allowing the user to preset two switching outputs—such as to “covered” and “uncovered”—plus configurable time delay settings and selectable fail-safe protection.
The VRX21 die-cast aluminum power pac—rated NEMA Type 4X—features 3/4" NPT dual conduit entries, a screw-off cover, and USDA-approved powder coat finish. Its durable design and self-cleaning capabilities offer a long, dependable service life.
Additional configurations of the VRX probes are available to best fit your application, from extended probes to high-temperature models to vibrating forks and more.
